MOTEL POLICY

https://innisfailcitymotel.com.au/ is a website (“Site”) operated by (“Innisfail City Motel”) means City Innisfail Motel Pty Ltd ACN 655 535 318 of 12 – 14 Owen Street, Innisfail QLD 4860 (“we”,“us” and “our”).

These are the Innisfail City Motel’s motel policies (“Policies”) that apply when you use or access our Site, regardless of how you access our site is subject to these Policies. By using our Site, you confirm that you accept these Policies and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Policies, you must not use our Site.

Our desire is for you to have the very best experience of Innisfail, our Accommodation Reservations. To assist us in delivering you that experience we have developed the following policies and guidelines which we respectfully request that you adhere to before, during and after your stay.

Arrival and Departure
• Check-in time is from 2pm
• Check-out time is prior to 10am

Early check-in or late check-out is available, and rates are available on request. If you arrive before or after outside of normal office hours, you must advise us in writing via booking@innisfailcitymotel.com.au at least twenty four (24) hours before your expected arrival but there is no guarantee we can prearrange for you to collect the keys as it depends on a case by case basis. Guest will be required to present his/her own valid credit/debit card upon check-in along with a valid form of identification, especially if you have already prepaid by a credit card reservation before your arrival.

Should you need to confirm an earlier arrival time than the motel standard check-in time, please contact the motel directly in advance to its landline phone number on (07) 4061 2266.

Any delay to check-out will result an extra night’s full room booking charges being added to the final bill.

Children

Child or Children aged between 2 years and 11 years.

“Infant” means a person under the age of 2 years.

Children and Infants must not stay in any room without an Adult.

Persons aged over 12 years will be charged Extra Person rates for each person.

All room rates are based on two Adults. Extra person charges will be charged on a Room Only basis, unless otherwise stated. Standard room has two people. Any additional persons will incur additional charges.

• Extra Person rates charged will incur at a rate of per person per night and will be calculated in a separate line at payment summary when you finalise your booking. (Extra person rates includes sofa bed)
• Children and Infants sharing a room with their parents or guardians may do so free of change if using existing beds and linen and not exceeding the maximum occupancy for the given room type.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept any Australian-issued and most international chip cards or magstripe cards with a Visa or Mastercard. We also accept mobile wallets such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and Samsung Pay.

For prepaid reservations, you must pay in advance either by a valid chip card, magstripe card or by direct bank transfer to the Motel’s nominated bank account. Please note that if the payment is done with a chip card, magstripe card belonging to another person who won’t be present at the motel, we require a written authorisation emailed to the Motel at booking@innisfailcitymotel.com.au by the chip card, or magstripe card holder with a readable and valid copy of his/her chip card, or magstripe card and a readable and valid copy of his/her photo ID. The motel reserves all rights to refuse the access of the room to any guests who are not able to show us the chip card, or magstripe card he/ she used for his/her prepaid reservation or if we did not receive the authorisation before his/her arrival.

For non-prepaid reservations, upon arrival, you can pay cash or by a chip card or magstripe card number such as VISA or MasterCard.

Reservations Guarantee

To guarantee your reservation you will be asked for your chip card or magstripe card details.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your reservation we ask that you advise us up to fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival date and a cancellation fee will not apply. Cancellations within fourteen (14) days, you will incur a penalty fee of one (1) full night’s accommodation charge which will be applied to your nominated chip card or magstripe card.

You must contact the Motel for any cancellations on (07) 4061 2266 as soon as possible.

No-shows

For bookings, should you fail to arrive on the scheduled day of your reservation, you will be subject to a penalty fee of one (1) full night’s accommodation charge which will be applied to your chip card, or magstripe card. Should you not arrive the next day your reservation will be cancelled, and the total accommodation charge will be applied to your chip card or magstripe card.

After check-in, should you shorten your stay, full payment for the reservation will be forfeited.

Rates and Minimum Length of Stay Requirements

Our rates vary by room type, availability, day of the week and season. The weekends are always in high demand. During periods of peak seasons, we may apply a requirement for a minimum length of stay. You will be advised of this at the time of your reservation.

Local Taxes

All guest expenses are subject to Goods & Services Tax of 10.0% which is included in any room or ancillary prices quoted.

Gratuities and Service Charges

Tips and gratuities to our team members are at our guest’s discretion and we do not apply any compulsory gratuities or service charges.

Microwave, Toaster & Refrigerator

Preparation of food in all the guest rooms by any type of cooking appliances is prohibited. Except for the microwave, toaster ovens and refrigerator units that the motel provides. Microwaves are provided for reheating of pre-cooked foods and microwave meals only. Toaster are provided to heat slices of bread until it is lightly brown. We ask that you refrain from microwaving any pungent food as the odour is difficult to remove. A cleaning fee may be assessed on our microwave, toaster and refrigerator in all guest rooms depending on a case by case basis.

Smoking

We do not permit smoking within our guest rooms and smoking within enclosed public areas is against the law in Queensland. There are outdoor areas throughout the property where smoking is permitted. Please refer to and respectfully follow the signs on the property. A sanitisation fee of one additional night’s accommodation or package fee will be charged where smoking occurs within a guest room.

Small Pets and Animals

No pets and animals are allowed within our guest or on the property.

Communications and Privacy

If you contact us by email, and standard mail or through this website you agree to allow us to contact you in the future and that this may include promotional material regarding upcoming events, special offers or general information. We will never use your name and
information for any other purpose nor provide it to any other party without your prior permission or where legally obliged to do so. Any communication that we may send you will include the opportunity for you to unsubscribe.

Additional Guests

Unless otherwise specified all accommodation and package rates quoted are based on double occupancy. Please contact our Reservations Team regarding rates for additional guests on (07) 4061 2266.

Group Bookings

If guests require booking of ten or more rooms, we request notification in advance of twenty-four (24) hours on (07) 4061 2266 so that we can assist our guests to check-in quickly and stress free. We like to personally welcome all group members and provide a friendly and personal service. We welcome the opportunity to assist your party with advice on local activities, events and entertainment, special experiences and even airport transfers.

Parking

We provide complimentary on-site parking which is made available for guests for your convenience.

Environmental Policy

We constantly challenge ourselves to provide the right environment for our guests and team members through the promotion of environmental awareness. We train our team members to incorporate good environmental practice in all aspects by periodically reviewing
our practices, procedures, and objectives.

Disputes and Claims

Any controversy, dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these motel policies shall come under the jurisdiction of most competent courts of Queensland.

Changes to Motel Policies

These Motel Policies are subject to change without notice – latest update July 2022.

Obligation & Responsibility of Guests

All guests will ensure they must follow the below special conditions which we respectfully request that you adhere to before, during and after your stay:

• The guest will be liable for all damages caused by him/her within the motel’s property and will cover all costs incurred from such damages and/or failure to comply with the above policies and guidelines. We hold the rights to intervene if necessary and to take any
appropriate actions against the guest.
• Any reservation or payment that is incomplete, suspicious, or fraudulent made by the guest will result in the cancellation of the Accommodation Reservations at the expense of the guest, without any discrimination to any actions made by this Motel against the guest.
• The guest will not invite into this Motel any person/persons whose behaviour is likely to be disruptive to this Motel and/or stay of other guests.
